Morro Bay hadn't done well against Santa Ynez recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Morro Bay had just enough and edged out Santa Ynez 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Morro Bay sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Cruz Wilkinson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Quentin Crotts was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

Morro Bay pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.
