Baseball Recap: San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coastal Christian, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Shandon Outlaws 6-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grizzlies also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Spelbring, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Spelbring also brought in two RBI, marking his first of the season.

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Shandon, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy and Shandon will both be playing Valley Christian Academy the next time they take the field. The Outlaws will host the Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Grizzlies will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
