Basketball Recap: Campbell Comes Up Short

Campbell lost against Sulphur Bluff back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Campbell Indians had to suffer through a 61-25 loss at the hands of the Sulphur Bluff Bears. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-10.

Campbell dropped their record down to 1-14 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sulphur Bluff, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Campbell will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Neches at 3:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Sulphur Bluff also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Union Hill at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
