Softball Recap: Menchville Monarchs vs. Phoebus Phantoms
Menchville can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Phoebus Phantoms a 14-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Menchville sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Menchville pushed their record up to 12-5-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Phoebus, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Menchville will challenge Denbigh at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Menchville is facing Denbigh at the right time seeing as Denbigh is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Phoebus, they will head out on the road to take on Warwick at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
