DALLAS, Texas - A big 17-point first quarter helped carry the Trojans to a 31-0 victory over Bishop Dunne (Dallas, Texas) on Saturday.
Trinity Christian rushed for two touchdowns on the ground during the quarter, including one by
Nahshon Ellerbe.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, TC led 17-0 at the half.
The Addison school expanded its lead to 24 points entering the fourth quarter. The Trojans scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Ellerbe.
Trinity Christian came in allowing an average of 28.7 points per game this season.
A 56-21 Trinity Christian victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Bishop Dunne, who notched a 42-23 victory over Antonian Prep in its previous outing. With the win the Addison school extended its winning streak to four games. The loss broke Bishop Dunne's two-game winning streak.
