Baseball Recap: Chazy Find Success

Chazy proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 22) and on Sunday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Northern Adirondack Bobcats 7-6. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jack McAuliffe made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. McAuliffe was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Landon Duprey, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Chazy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise.

Chazy's record now sits at 7-3. As for Northern Adirondack, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
