Softball Recap: Firelands Comes Up Short

If Firelands was riding high fresh off their 20-3 takedown of Oberlin on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Keystone Wildcats on Wednesday. The Falcons have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Sarah Blankenship was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Firelands now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Keystone, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
