Franklin waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Organ Mountain Knights by a score of 3-1.

Franklin can attribute much of their success to Savannah Smith, who had seven digs and six aces. Those seven digs gave Smith a new career-high.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Organ Mountain, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Franklin has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Mayfield on the 29th. As for Organ Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Pebble Hills on the 30th.
