Softball Recap: Wynford Comes Up Short

Wynford was the 13-0 winner over Elgin when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Royals took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets on Friday.

Wynford's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Elgin, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Coincidentally, Wynford and Elgin will both be playing Ridgedale the next time they take the field. The Comets will host the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Royals will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
