Menlo-Atherton won the last time they faced Sequoia and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Ravens. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Anthony Kabrich looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Menlo-Atherton's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Will Roberts, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. MJ Ellazar was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Menlo-Atherton's record is now 15-6. As for Sequoia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Menlo-Atherton will square off against King's Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sequoia, they will take on Menlo School at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
