Basketball Game Preview: Niceville Eagles vs. Crestview Bulldogs

Niceville hasn't had much luck against Crestview recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Niceville Eagles will welcome the Crestview Bulldogs at 5:15 p.m. Niceville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Niceville didn't have too much trouble with Pace as they won 50-35. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Patriots are ranked 575th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Crestview beat Pace 48-36 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Crestview pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Niceville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.
