Basketball Recap: Tupper Lake Gets the Win

Tupper Lake won the last time they faced Colton-Pierrepont, and Felix Bodeewes did his part to make sure it happened again. The Tupper Lake Lumberjacks strolled past the Colton-Pierrepont Colts with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 56-41 thanks in part to Bodeewes, who went 7 for 13 en route to 18 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. His evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Clark, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points and eight boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Colton-Pierrepont still got an impressive performance from Cian Trimm, who made all 5 shots he took for 10 points and five rebounds. Josh Erwin was another key player, putting up four points and three steals.

Tupper Lake now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Colton-Pierrepont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Tupper Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 51-38 defeat against Madrid-Waddington on the 17th. As for Colton-Pierrepont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-38 loss against La Fargeville on the 16th.
