Volleyball Game Preview: Sonoma Valley Dragons vs. Analy Tigers

Sonoma Valley is 0-4 against Analy since February of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Dragons will look to defend their home court against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Sonoma Valley made easy work of Ukiah and carried off a 3-0 win. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Sonoma Valley was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Analy waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars.

Analy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rancho Cotate between 14 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-14.

Analy pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sonoma Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
