Football Game Preview: Middlesex Bluejays vs. Keansburg Titans

The Middlesex Bluejays will challenge the Keansburg Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Middlesex is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They were outmatched by Belvidere and fell 42-6.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Keansburg and Point Pleasant Beach, and Point Pleasant Beach kept the tradition alive. The Titans were dealt a 43-7 defeat at the hands of the Garnet Gulls on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 43 points in the game before, the Titans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Middlesex's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Keansburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Middlesex took their victory against Keansburg in their previous meeting back in October of 2015 by a conclusive 40-20 score. Will the Bluejays repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
