Basketball Recap: Jeremiah Labrake's Big Game Can't Quite Lead St. Lawrence Central over Norwood-Norfolk + How To Watch

If St. Lawrence Central was riding high fresh off their 77-42 takedown of Clifton-Fine on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Larries took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers on Monday. The Larries were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Flyers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Several Larries players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremiah LaBrake, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Zain Pasha was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

St. Lawrence Central dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Lawrence Central will take on St. Regis Falls in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norwood-Norfolk and Clifton-Fine will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
