Lebanon pushed their score all the way to 66 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Stewarts Creek by a score of 69-66. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Lebanon has suffered yet this season.
Meanwhile, Smyrna pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 73-59 fall against Stewarts Creek.
Despite the loss, Smyrna had strong showings from Ze'keice Mccarver, who scored 16 points along with two steals, and Jalylle Batey-roberts, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Mccarver scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Tyreque Mccarver, who scored 11 points along with six assists.
Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Smyrna, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
