Football Recap: Central Kitsap Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Central Kitsap's offense. They took a blow against the Mount Tahoma T-Birds on Friday, falling 48-0. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the T-Birds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Mount Tahoma's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mikkah Cordero, who threw for 200 yards and a pair of TDs on perfect 11-for-11 passing. The dominant performance also gave Cordero a new career-high in passer rating (177.1). Keshawn Hines helped Cordero out on the ground, rushing for 65 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Central Kitsap is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Mount Tahoma, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Central Kitsap will square off against rival Bellarmine Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mount Tahoma is set to face off against their familiar foe Lincoln at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
