Baseball Recap: Harmony Comes Up Short

Harmony lost to Eau Gallie back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Longhorns fell 15-11 to the Commodores.

Harmony got a good showing from Jay Vanyur, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Shawn Brabant made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and five RBI. Lucas Aguilar was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Harmony's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Eau Gallie, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

While Harmony had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
