Grundy Center put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 59-46 victory over the South Hardin Tigers. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Tigers are ranked 167th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Grundy Center pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points per game. As for South Hardin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grundy Center will welcome Columbus at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Grundy Center's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
