Volleyball Recap: Pine Forge Academy Comes Up Short

Pine Forge Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to New Foundations.

Pine Forge Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-18.

Misael Hunt-Butler paced Pine Forge Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Hunt-Butler got some help from Andres Trellis and his two assists. William Burke controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pine Forge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for New Foundations, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pine Forge Academy will square off against rival Mastery at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Foundations is set to challenge their familiar foe Girard College at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
