Softball Recap: Havelock Rams vs. South Lenoir Blue Devils        
        
		
            
 There's no place like home for Havelock, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  on Saturday. They came out on top against the South Lenoir Blue Devils by a score of  6-2  on Saturday.
  NeVaeha George was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.  Andria Krupey was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 On South Lenoir's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Makenzie Herring, who  went 1-for-2 with a  stolen base.
 Havelock pushed their record up to 8-3 with that  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.2 runs per game. As for South Lenoir,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-5.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Havelock will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on J.H. Rose at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for South Lenoir, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wallace-Rose Hill at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
