Louisville entered their tilt with New Philadelphia on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Quakers. That's two games straight that the Leopards have won by just one run.

Louisville's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Zander Tripplett, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Greyson Brunoni also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Louisville pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for New Philadelphia, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Louisville will welcome John F. Kennedy Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Leopards 3.6, the Eagles 2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for New Philadelphia, they will host Mansfield Senior at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
