Davenport has gone a perfect 6-0 against Navarro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wolves will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Davenport is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.

Davenport gave up the first runs last Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over Wimberley. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Texans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Harper Mcquade spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on two hits.

On the hitting side, Davenport let Ashlynn Kennedy and JORDYN Altmeyer run wild. Kennedy scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Altmeyer went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Abbi Brandes, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Davenport lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now launched at least two home runs in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Navarro came up short against Fredericksburg on Tuesday, falling 19-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Billies: they've now lost three in a row.

Davenport's victory bumped their record up to 15-6-1. As for Navarro, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1.

Everything went Davenport's way against Navarro when the teams last played back in March, as Davenport made off with a 22-2 win. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
