Softball Recap: Berea Takes a Loss

Berea fell victim to Pickens and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Blue Flame, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Flame this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 back in March.

Berea has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8-1 record this season. As for Pickens, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Berea is set to face off against their familiar foe Daniel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pickens will challenge rival Greer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
