Soccer Recap: Grapevine Gets the Win

On Wednesday, it was close, but the Grapevine Mustangs sidestepped the Lake Ridge Eagles for a 2-1 victory.

Nico Greuling and Joely Garcia scored both of Grapevine's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Grapevine's win bumped their record up to 4-5-2. As for Lake Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-2.

Grapevine didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Colleyville Heritage on the 24th. As for Lake Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Mansfield on the 28th.
