Littlefield waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Dimmitt Bobcats 15-3. Considering the Wildcats have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Littlefield's win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Dimmitt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Littlefield is set to face off against their familiar foe Shallowater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 3.8, the Mustangs 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Dimmitt will square off against rival Slaton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
