First Colonial had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Tallwood on Thursday. The Patriots blew past the Lions 9-2. Considering the Patriots have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

First Colonial pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Tallwood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, First Colonial will challenge York at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tallwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Kellam at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
