Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Gets the Win

Roosevelt won the last time they faced Yankton and things went their way on Friday too. The Roosevelt Rough Riders walked away with a 49-40 victory over the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Yankton, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Roosevelt and Yankton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps South Dakota Rankings. Roosevelt will face off against O'Gorman at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday down 50 places (64 vs. 14). Meanwhile, Yankton (ranked 97th) will meet Huron (ranked 30th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
