Softball Recap: West Jessamine Comes Up Short

West Jessamine lost against Mercer County back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colts fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1. The Colts' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

West Jessamine saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addi Vahle, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

West Jessamine's record now sits at 14-12. As for Mercer County, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-10.

Looking ahead, West Jessamine will host East Jessamine at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mercer County, they are taking a road trip to square off against North Laurel at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
