South Sevier's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Carbon Dinos by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Dinos: they've now won three in a row.

Kinsey Parsons paced South Sevier's offense, picking up 24 kills. Parsons got some help from Cooperlynne Green and her 34 assists. Alyson Moore controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the defeat, Carbon saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Erin Hurst had 12 assists and two aces.

South Sevier's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Carbon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19.

South Sevier has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Delta on the 11th. As for Carbon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Panguitch on the 11th.
