Basketball Recap: Halstead Comes Up Short

Halstead was the 47-38 winner over Chaparral when they last played one another back in February of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons took a 70-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roadrunners on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (56), the Dragons still had to take the loss.

Halstead dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Chaparral, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Halstead has already played their next contest (against Smoky Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chaparral also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Cunningham.
