On Monday, Pinnacle faced Sunnyside in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Pinnacle Pioneers skirted past the Sunnyside Blue Devils 4-3. The victory was nothing new for the Pioneers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Pinnacle's win bumped their record up to 5-0-1. As for Sunnyside, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 11-2 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinnacle will host Desert Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Sunnyside, they will be playing at home against Cienega at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Sunnyside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.
