Trinity Academy entered their tilt with Belle Plaine on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Trinity Academy was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Dominique Schellenger and Audrey Smith, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Grace Barrett and her 12 assists. Smith also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jordyn Whitfield, each putting up two.

Trinity Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Belle Plaine, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-24-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Trinity Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Hesston at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Belle Plaine, they will venture away from home to face off against Kingman on Tuesday.
