Softball Recap: Bradford Prep Takes a Loss

Bradford Prep came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Christ the King Crusaders by a score of 7-5 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-12 last Tuesday.

Jade Medina was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Erika Vasiloff was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Bradford Prep and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Christ the King, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradford Prep will take on Lincoln Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christ the King, they will challenge Mountain Island Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
