Softball Recap: Mcgraw Has No Trouble Against Mt. Markham

McGraw got themselves on the board against Mt. Markham on Sunday, but Mt. Markham never followed suit. They blew past the Mustangs 11-0. Considering the Eagles have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

McGraw's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Mt. Markham, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-8-1.

Looking ahead, McGraw will square off against Port Byron at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season. Mt. Markham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
