It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Copperas Cove ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the Temple Wildcats 3-2. That's two games straight that the Bulldawgs have won by just one run.
Gabriel Armenta was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.
Copperas Cove's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-12-1. As for Temple, they moved to 7-17-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
