Baseball Recap: Delcambre Find Success

While Delcambre didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Patterson Lumberjacks on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Lumberjacks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Rix Robin, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5. He also put up a double, which washis first of the season. Another player making a difference was Nathan Prioux, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Delcambre's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Patterson, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delcambre will challenge Church Point at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Patterson, they will face off against Westgate at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
