Baseball Recap: Badger Takes a Loss

The Badger Badgers wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Badger saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradley McCarthy, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. That home run was McCarthy's first of the season.

Badger's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Watertown, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-10 record.

Badger does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Watertown, they will take on Hartford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Orioles will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Goslings surely won't give up without a fight.
