Basketball Recap: GRACE Christian Takes a Loss

GRACE Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Grace Christian Crusaders, falling 78-14. The Eagles lost against the Crusaders in their previous head to head back in February of 2015, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 54-37 score last time.

Grace Christian was led to victory by Jordan Speller and Isa Roman. Speller posted 17 points along with eight steals and seven assists, while Roman put up 12 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. Speller is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was AdAorA Mogbo, who scored ten points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

GRACE Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Grace Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

GRACE Christian has already played their next matchup, a 47-35 defeat against St. David's on the 30th. As for Grace Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 73-65 victory against NC GBB Academy National on the 30th.
