 Dakota Valley is 3-0 against Beresford since April of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Dakota Valley Panthers will be staying on the road  to face off against the Beresford Watchdogs at 5:30  p.m. One thing working in Dakota Valley's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  every time they've taken the field this season.
 Dakota Valley stacked  a  fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They were the clear victor by  a  12-1 margin over Scotland/Menno. 12 seems to be a good number for Dakota Valley as the  team scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
  Beau Pollema spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on one hit and racked up 13 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Vincent Hoffman was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jack Wiese, who  went 2-for-2 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Beresford suffered a  rough 13-3 loss at the hands of Dakota Valley  on April 8th. Beresford has not had much luck with Dakota Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Dakota Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Beresford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Everything went Dakota Valley's way against Beresford in their previous meeting  on April 8th as Dakota Valley made off with  a  13-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dakota Valley since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
