Keyser came out on top against North Marion on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The Golden Tornado were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Huskies. The Golden Tornado might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by eight runs or more this season.
Mady McIntyre was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. What's more, she posted two strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Keyser let Suzy Cosenza and Edie Bromhal run wild. Cosenza went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Bromhal went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Bromhal has posted over her last 12 matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailynn Burns, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.
