Baseball Recap: Glenn's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

Glenn fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Knox on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Redskins by a score of 8-7. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Mekhi Pulluaim made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Glenn: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Goodsell, who went 2-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Glenn now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Knox, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Glenn will head out on the road to challenge Tri-Township at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Knox, they will host LaVille at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
