Palatka came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Crescent City Raiders 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Joseph Solomon was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Ryan Surrency was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Palatka hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive matches.

Palatka pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Crescent City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-14.

Palatka didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Interlachen on the 4th. As for Crescent City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-2 victory against Peniel Baptist Academy on the 4th.
