Soccer Recap: Northglenn Find Success

Northglenn's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Pomona Panthers as the Northglenn Norsemen made off with a 5-1 win. Joselyn Nores Gomez was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Northglenn's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Pomona, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Northglenn will host Overland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pomona will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bear Creek at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. Pomona has given up an average of 5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
