Basketball Recap: Broadalbin-Perth Takes a Loss

Broadalbin-Perth played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 76-40 loss at the hands of the Amsterdam Rams. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Leading Amsterdam to victory were CJ Miller and Jude Flint. Miller dropped a double-double on 26 points and 16 boards, while Flint almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. Miller has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aundray Fowler, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Broadalbin-Perth's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Amsterdam, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Broadalbin-Perth will take on Hudson Falls in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. As for Amsterdam, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 69-60 victory against Catholic Central on the 15th.
