Basketball Recap: Goddard Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Goddard lost against Andover back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions took a blow against the Trojans, falling 72-23. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Presley Schmidt was Goddard's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Schmidt also led the team in rebounds with four. Sariah Potter took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Goddard is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3. As for Andover, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Goddard and Andover will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Lions see the court they'll take on Arkansas City at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Andover, their break will end when they face Newton on January 3, 2026.
