Basketball Recap: Zumbrota-Mazeppa Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Zumbrota-Mazeppa won against Litchfield on Saturday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars walked away with a 62-55 win over the Litchfield Dragons. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly seven points.

Zumbrota-Mazeppa's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Litchfield, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Zumbrota-Mazeppa and Triton will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
