Volleyball Recap: Forest Hills Eastern Comes Up Short

Forest Hills Eastern was the 2-0 winner over East Lansing when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans on Saturday.

Elsa Kleff paced Forest Hills Eastern's offense, picking up six kills. Kleff got some help from Averly Hollander and her 14 assists. Kleff was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Forest Hills Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17-1. As for East Lansing, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-13-1 record this season.

Forest Hills Eastern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Fowlerville on the 11th. As for East Lansing, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Ionia on the 11th.
