Alhambra won the last time they faced North and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Alhambra had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-12, 25-13, 25-19.

George Mendoza paced Alhambra's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mendoza got some help from Cesar Segovia and his 19 assists. Mendoza was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Alhambra's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Alhambra has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Glendale on the 17th. As for North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Central on the 17th.
