Basketball Recap: Madison Park RVT Comes Up Short

If Madison Park RVT was feeling good fresh off their 73-47 takedown of Snowden International last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Madison Park RVT Cardinals fell to the Charlestown Townies 75-70. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Townies are ranked 32nd).

Madison Park RVT's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Charlestown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison Park RVT will take on Tech Boston Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Madison Park RVT has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 199 points over their last three contests. Charlestown has already played their next matchup (against East Boston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
